If I am in danger, I'll call "999" for help, the emergency number in my location.

I can't imagine trying to contact someone for help who is no where near enough to possibly to provide any help in an emergency. We still have a pretty effective police presence in my neighborhood, so my first call would be to the emergency number for police.

In the event of a national emergency where police might not be immediately available, I have an arrangement with two nearby heavily armed neighbors for rapid protection in exchange for emergency food and water supplies. I am very well stocked for any SHTF event; enough food, water and medical supplies to outlast a full year or two for all of us.
