I read somewhere about the movie, personally I don't like horror movies anymore, but children's mascots who are psychopathic killers at night is too much for me. I have no intention to see the movie.

I remember a younger cousin of mine is afraid of mascots as a kid, while I love to hug them when I was little.

Once upon a time, Warner Brothers tried to get the movie rights for this game. They wrote a script and gave it to Scott Cawthon, Creator of the Game, but when he read the script, it make him felt like the script disrespected the source material which is his creation. So he threw the script on the trash.

Warner Bros decided to repurpose the script. They remember they own the rights for a 1960s Mascot show for children, the Banana scripts. Since that tv show is dead for decades, they decided to repurpose its characters for their rejected Fnaf movie and turned into this horror movie.

Another film company offered Scott Cawthon to make a Five Nights at Freddie movie, With Nicolas Cage as the lead. He also hated the script and threw it in trash. That film company decided to repurpose that script into this movie:

How I wish Capcom rejected the scripts of those Godawful Resident Evil movies.

I heard that was what happened with the Banana Splits movie. I'd quite like to see the Five Nights at Freddy's one now that they've finally made it. I've seen a few Blumhouse movies.I really liked Happy Death Day and Freaky.

I just watched it too. I liked it. Mathew Lillard is signed on for two more sequels, so here's hoping they get made.

Adaptations are the best when the creator is involved. The ones that suck didnt let the creators have input

True. Like the terrible movie adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
