Duty After School (2023) - K-drama based on Webtoon

Postby cmoneyspinner » 06 May 2023, 19:09

Just finished watching "Duty After School", a Korean drama released in 2023, based on a webtoon,

I'm old now but I remember my senior year in high school. It was so cool! I was looking forward to my independent life as a young adult and attending university.

But this K-drama? Talk about CRUSHING DREAMS and DESTROYING YOUTH!

The military recruited high school senior students to fight in a war against aliens who eat human flesh.

It was 10 episodes and when I watched the last episode I WAS SO PISSED! :x

I'll give it a good rating (9 out of 10 stars) but that won't stop me from being ANGRY! :x

Sounds interesting, where did you watch it @cmoneyspinner, is it available on Netflix or somewhere else? Is it dubbed in English?

I watched on Rakuten Viki. I think you can watch it free with ads. Only English subtitles. No dubbing.

Only Netflix originals have English dub.

Actually, some of the foreign content on Tubi is English dubbed. But it's just that Tubi doesn't really have a lot of content like that. English dubbed is convenient, but I don't like it. I prefer to hear the foreign language audio so that while I read the English subtitles I can pick up words and phrases of the foreign language and maybe learn how to speak it.
