Disney is remaking Moana

Postby Netherrealmer » 08 Apr 2023, 23:51

WTF Moana is on theaters for like 2016 and now they are remaking it? The Rock is reprising Maui, I think the intention is if the remake don't flop, The Rock will have Maui Spin off. This is his back up plan after Black Adam flops. The Rock should stick to being an actor and stop asking for creative control. Who the hell remakes a movie that is not even a decade old. Many of the children who watched Moana are still children..

Moana was a very enjoyable and sweet movie. It will be interesting to see what they do with a remake and how successful it will be.

Moana's title in non English speaking European country is Vaiana because there is a popular pornstar with Moana as a name so the name is associated to Porn, so she is Vaiana in most European countries. The Porn Moana became a Politician that's why she is so infamous.

I loved watching Moana, my brother was the one who suggested it to me when it was released but I hadn't been able to find the time to watch it like I wanted to. It wasn't until I got the flu really bad at one point that I needed to find things to keep me occupied whilst I was stuck in bed and Moana was one of the movies I watched.

I am quite keen to see how the remake will go and what they do to make any changes to the original.

She is the first Polynesian Disney Princess, It is about a 14 year old girl wants to be a sailor. A danger will put her Island home in trouble. So She will work with the God Maui to stop an evil that can destroy the world. When We say Polynesian I talk about Hawaiians, Samoans, Palauans, Tahitians, Ethnic New Zealanders, Guamanians,Tongans, Tokelauans and Micronesians.

The Rock, Voiced Maui and he will reprise the role in Live action.

Maybe he will hire his daughter for the role of Moana.

It's more like a live-action adaptation rather than a remake.
The Rock was the voice of the animation version. I'm quite interested to see how he will perform in the live-action.

My daughters enjoyed the movie. I don't remember much about it but definitely it was a sweet movie where the princess was more than just being beautiful, she was courageous. I hope that the remake would be good too and successful.

It will be live action this time. The Rock wants something to do after Black Adam fails. He wants a Moana live action remake so he can make Maui spin off and have 100% creative control

The problem with the rock is that he always wants to be in charge. The truth of the matter is he is no longer as relevant in the movie industry like before and he is very kuch aware of this, so he is seriously looking for ways to stay relevant. He thought he could achieve this with fast and furious, but things did not go as planned, then he went on to DC, but that was a major mess. Now its this.

I hope not a remake but a continuation of the previous movie. I have enjoyed the previous one. The Rock is very much ideal to the character Maui.

He wants a remake because he wants to revive his career after the flop of Black Adam and the cancelation of his biopic tv show , Young Rock. His intention with Moana is to end up with a live action Maui spin off.

If you ask me, there is nothing better than the original. However, I will watch the new movie and see what they have changed and maybe I will come back with a review after finishing it.

His career is not in danger because of one or two bad movies. Everybody had such time.
Example Will Smith got The Golden Raspberry Awards for movie After Earth with his son Jaden.

The most important supporting actor in the film is actually a pig. She remained the same even though Moana aged during the film. Because of this fact, can we mark the film with the SF category as well?

If they use a different story instead of the same story, I think the Movie would be still good.
