Street Fighter is one of the most Legendary videogames of all time but all Big Budget live action movie adaptations of it sucks.

This Street Fighter movie, Demotes Ryu into a side character , Turned Guile into the main character because Hollywood is racist to Asian men back then. A Very aweful movie.


The Second attempt for Street Fighter movie,

Ryu does not exist, Chun-li got promoted as main character and they cast white passing Half Chinese-Canadian to play Chun-li. The fight choreography is awful and the actress who played Chun-li does not look like a realistic Mainland Chinese woman who grew up in a rural village in China.

Legendary films made the awesome Godzilla and King Kong reboots. So I wonder if they can give Street Fighter Justice. Having access to the Street Fighter Universe, Legendary films can also adapt other games in the Street Fighter Universe like Final Fight and Rival Schools.

I think Cammy and Chun-li's redesign in Street Fighter 6 makes sense now.


To make them easier to adapt in live action. No Movie Actress will dare to dress like this in real life.

I definitely love the plot in the last street fighter movie, pardon me I've just watched the trailer but I must agree I love the work done here, as much as there are also some negative reviews like the poor script, weak performance, and their uninspired action scenes. I'm still a fan, and I appreciate the movie and the work they put into it.

I never liked those movies, they all suck and the writers probably never played the games. The only Good Street Fighter movie is assassin's fist which is a fan movie and not considered official.

My Ryu is going to Andrew Koji:

He is tall like Ryu, muscular like Ryu, Good at Martial arts like Ryu. He just looks like Ryu and he is Japanese


Ken will be a hard casting, Despite of having Blond haired Ken is Half Japanese.
Thats why his eyebrows are black. He just dyes it Blond. I know a Half Japanese/ Half white actor who can work as Ken.
My casting for ken is Darren Barnett. he always play Himbo characters so he fits well as Ken.



Chun-li is the most important female character in the franchise.I have two actresses in mind for her.
first is the wwe wrestler Xia Li, She is from China, Good at Kung-fu and looks like a real life Chun-li, she have the same thighs and she can do Chun-li's kicks except from Spinning Bird kick because no one can do that IRL.

My other alternative is Gemma Chan because she is the most beautiful Chinese descent actress in Hollywood right now but she lacks the body for Chun-li.



Chun-li have big thighs and she is not flat chested.

How about Lucy Lu? She have some experience as action star - Charlie Angels or Shazam. She is American but Chinese so she have already good fan base.

too old, Canonically Chun-li is now 55 but Chun-li is 21 when street fighter started and the first movie will cover events of Street Fighter 1,2 and Alpha.

The Street Fighter Universe is not Limited to Street Fighter Games, If the movie doesnt suck and becomes a success. Other Games in the Street Fighter Universe will be adapted too.


Final Fight have a great movie potential, Its basically about a Wrestler turned Mayor, His daughters's boyfriend and a Ninja tries to fight a Gang after they Kidnapped the Mayor's daughter.




Rival Schools -Which is an action story about a bunch of highschool students trying to stop an evil school
Its like Mean Girls but with Shonen Anime violence

They will want Chinese box office and she will not pass chinese beauty standards. Also chun-li have thick legs and big boobs.

Xia li will be perfect Chun-li, they just need to cover her tattoos. She already have Chun-li's body and she practices Kung-fu

When casting a character that is so popular, they have to make sure that they do a good job.. Fans get really upset if the cast doesn't do well with the image of the character that they have built over period of time.
