Vampires, Zombies, or Grim Reapers?

Postby cmoneyspinner » 14 Mar 2023, 19:51

I really enjoy watching Korean dramas and Netflix is loading up on them. Viki and Tubi also offer them.

I don't really like the horror genre. But I don't mind the K-dramas.

My complaint is they make too many zombie shows and not enough vampires. LOL.
I prefer historical period dramas.

~ The Scholar Who Walks the Night is about a good vampire versus a bad vampire during the Joseon Era.

~ Kingdom is about zombies during the Joseon Era. Have you ever heard of the resurrection plant?

~ Tomorrow is a series about grim reapers. It is set in various time periods since grim reapers can go through time. It's historical and modern-day.

If you watch Korean dramas, which do you prefer? Vampires, Zombies, or Grim Reapers? Even if you don't watch K-dramas which do you prefer?

Kingdom sadly is the first Netflix Korean drama that got cancelled. Korea makes a lot of zombie series and movies because it resonates with the west. Thats why All of us are dead,Train to Busan and Happiness are hits. You wont see a lot of vampires in Korean pop culture because they prefer utilizing Gumiho instead.

Yes i have noticed this about kdramas, they tend to focus more on zombies , they have a lot of zombie series and even movies but little to no series on vampires.
