If you've never heard of SNORG TEES, I wouldn't be surprised ... I don't hear about them very much (no major television-ad campaigns, I haven't even seen much of them on the Internet lately). They're a T-shirt company with clever witticisms on their shirts.

I looked up their name's meaning, and found

• their Wikipedia-page which told me some basic stuff, but nothing specifically about 'that name'
• read that it's (also?) the name of a hypothetical organism discussed in DNA studies
• It's the name of a robot in a version of TRANSFORMERS
• It has several definitions in the URBAN dictionary ... I like the ones that say it's 'when you laugh & snort-or-grunt at the same time

Do you know why they named their company that way? Do you have any favorite SNORG SHIRT sayings?
