Elvis Presley

Postby Starry » 08 Jan 2023, 09:23

I'm a fan of Elvis Presley. He is a great singer. Some of my favorite Elvis songs include Love Me Tender; Are You Lonesome Tonight; Can't Help Falling in Love; and Always on My Mind. Do you like Elvis Presley?

I love all those songs from him but of course, Elvis is well-known for his other hits like Houndog...

My Wife is a duperfan of Elvis and still has a bunch of his 45 records in printed paper covers from her high school days. We don't have a player anymore, but she keeps them anyway and half the time when I walk through the Kitchen she has Alexa playing Elvis albums.

Elvis Presley was an American singer and actor who is widely regarded as one of the most significant cultural icons of the 20th century. He is often referred to as the "King of Rock and Roll" or simply "the King". Presley was born in Tupelo, Mississippi, and began his career in the mid-1950s as one of the first performers of rockabilly, an uptempo, backbeat-driven fusion of country and rhythm and blues. His energized interpretations of songs and sexually provocative performance style, combined with a singularly potent mix of influences across color lines during a transformative era in race relations, made him enormously popular—and controversial.

Presley had a versatile voice and had unusually wide success encompassing other genres, including gospel, blues, ballads, and pop. To date, he has been inducted into four music Halls of Fame.
