Do you think The Rock's daughter will have a successful wrestling career

Postby Netherrealmer » 02 Nov 2022, 06:36

Nepotism is common in WWE. Sons and daughters of legendary wrestlers always gets an advantage when they sign to companies like WWE<,AEW,ROH and Impact. Nepotism babies have an easier road to become a wrestler. They can be pushed over more talented wrestlers even if fans dont like them. These days Nepotism wrestlers are automatically given villain roles.

Biggest examples are Dominic Mysterio, Son of Ray Mysterio and Charlotte Flair daughter of Rick Flair. Since fans hate them both are playing heel characters or villains.

There is also Roman Reigns who is cousin of The Rock and son of Sika Anoa'i

Vince tried to push him as a hero but people hates him so much, so he is villain now.

The most successful Nepotism baby in WWE is Randy Orton. I mean he got so popular that people already forgot who his dad is. He won every single title in WWE except women's titles. He had sucessful run both as Hero and villain. He is John Cena's greatest rival.

The latest wrestler to join the Nepotism club is Simone Johnson.

Simone Johnson, The Rock's daughter got signed by WWE when she was 17. Now She is 21. she just made her debut. She hasn't wrestled yet but she already made her first promos. Her Dad is known for his mic skills. Her dad's mic skills is the reason he became a Hollywood star. She don't want to be seen as a nepotism baby. So she goes by the name Ava Raine now.

She hasn't wrestled on tv yet but she does have acting ability and mic skills. She decided to be a villain since nepotism wrestlers will be hated no matter what, so being a babyface will make her look awkward.

She had the option to go straight to Main roster and join her Uncle Roman and Usos in Bloodline but decided to join a different stable and grown in nxt. She wanted to distance herself from her wrestling relatives to build her own identity. Do you think she have the potential to be like Randy Orton and destroy the nepotism stigma, Or will she be like Dominic and Charlotte flair who are not getting respect from fans.

She hasnt wrestled yet but I guess they develop her mic skills first by making her talk a lot. Her dad is not that great of a wrestler but his mic skills made him a star. He is good at controlling crowds by talking with the mic.

Never really watched the show too much, but if the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, then I expect similar capabilities out of her.

The Rock have other daughters too but has no interest with Wrestling. Simone fell in love with Wrestling after she saw her dad's match against John Cena in person. Her dad decided to be supportive. Her dad didn't force her. She wanted to be a wrestler herself.
Also I think she got inspired because women like Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks,Bayley, Asuka and Alexa Bliss became main event talents.

Nepotism might make the entry easier but one can sustain and survive only when one has the passion and talent. Be it film industry or anywhere, nepotism is quite evident. But to stay in the race, one has to stay on own personal fuel.. Having celebrity connections can only give you a kickstart.

She just wrestled her first match, she is the girl with red hair. Her team lost the match, she didn't get to showcase her skills that much, I guess the 18 year old girl she competed against have more experience so she got scripted to do more moves. Its mixtag so she gets to fight men.

her development as a wrestler is slow, she started wrestling at 17 and she is still slow. Her female opponent is 18 and started wrestling at age 10 and she is more fluid with the choreography.

I want to see her fight in a singles match, since there are 3 men who carried her. WWE might not yet confident with her yet.

It is not only common in WWE. It is common everywhere, especially, in the field of recruitment for jobs.

It depends on whether her dad wants her to be in wrestling or now but for sure would ruin her feminity

being a wrestler will not make a woman not feminine a lot of female wrestlers looks feminine. Also her dad is very proud because she wants to pursue wrestling since his other kids dont. They are from a wrestling family

Also many men likes tomboys these days. Thats why female videogame streamers are popular, men prefers tomboys over girly girls who loves soap operas. They prefer a girlfriend who will watch MCU, read comics and play sports with them.

You can't expect anyone who starts in wrestling to be an expert right off the flip. They need hours of practice and in ring training to learn the moves. If she really wants to keep going in the business she will put the hours in the training

Tiffany Stratton is good in Wrestling in her first year. If she is not the Rock's daughter she would have been released with her slow development. Her peers Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez are around the same age and they are in the title scene. The Rock's daughter has been training since she is 17. They still dont trust her to have a singles match.

I am pretty sure she would do well though, her dad was a legend, then again these days wrestling matches are staged, let's just watch and see how it goes.

That's the problem, They still dont trust her to have a singles match. She has been training for 5 years. A woman who started training last year just surpassed her. She is a slow learner.

If she is good at acting she would definitely do well over there and considering the fact that she is the rock's daughter, i believe they would work it out.

Progress in any vocation, including wrestling, relies upon a mix of elements, like difficult work, expertise improvement, potential open doors, and the capacity to explore the business. The reality of the situation will surface eventually in the way that her wrestling profession unfurls.

She might end up as a manager since they do not trust her for a singles match yet, they only make her attack men, I guess she has no control of her body yet to not injure a woman to be in a scripted match against women.

Tiffany Stratton was training for only a year but because she is such a fast learner, she got booked to win championship on her first year.

Most slow learners got fired by WWE on their first 3 months. The Rock's daughter barely learns in 5 years but they keep her because of her dad.

Nepotism is common in WWE? Nepotism is common everywhere. The only time where I have ever seen nepotism work against someone was when a gangster's child tried to apply for a job with the federal government.

True story. This federal agency had been investigating the criminal activities of this individual. Their child applied for a job and they were denied employment. During their "background check" (people who apply for jobs with certain federal agencies must go through a background check which involves tracing their 'family tree') ~ it was determined that they were the child of an "alleged criminal". I have to say "alleged" because they had not gathered enough evidence to bring him to justice and convict him. Even so ... they felt that the child would have access to confidential information being collected about their father and might disclose the info to him. In other words, he would always be a step ahead of the police and be able to escape arrest. I have to admit it was a legitimate concern. Their reasoning was sensible. But supposed the kid was straight and had no intentions of helping their father continue in his criminal ways. It was an interesting situation.

I didn't follow this matter to the end but I think the child tried to sue and say they were being discriminated against. But the court sided with the federal agency. IMAGINE. The person had the qualifications for the job. If it were not for their father they would have been offered employment. It's not really nepotism, per se. But I'm guessing if the child had decided to become a gangster, none of the other gangsters would have objected to bringing them into La Cosa Nostra.

Yes. I know. I'm babbling and the discussion is about wrestling. Sorry. Carry on. :)
