Entertainment : My K-Drama Watched List

Postby cmoneyspinner » 30 Apr 2018, 03:36

Here is my list of K-dramas that I've watched.

Chuno (Slave Hunter; 2010)
Dong Yi (2010)
Gunman in Joseon (2014)
Love in the Moonlight (2016)
Maids (2015)
Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (2016)
Six Flying Dragons (2015)
Tamra, the Island (2009)
The Flower in Prison (2016)
The Merchant: Gaekju (2015)
Tree With Deep Roots (2011)
The King's Case Note (2017)

The list is in alphabetical order. Not arranged by favorites or anything.

Although I have to say:
~ The soundtrack for Chuno was awesome!
~ Dong Yi was a wonderful love story and it was a true story!

If any of you like to watch Korean dramas, let's chat.
* Have you seen any of these on my list?
* Do you have a favorite actor or actress?
* Can you suggest any more K-dramas for me to add to my Watch List? (Movies or TV shows.)

If you're not into Korean dramas ... WHY NOT?? (Just kidding.)

Not really a drama but a movie... Have you watched Miss Granny? That is an awesome Korean movie.

I like the Korean drama Thriller AfterMath.

Miss Granny
Thriller Aftermath

I'll look for them.

Netflix doesn't have enough K-dramas for me to choose from. If these are not on Netflix, I'll have to hunt for free online video streaming.

Thanks for these suggestions.

Viki and DramaFever are the ones that got me started. Now I find that there are lots of sites where I can watch non-Us movies and TV shows. It's great! Some of those site though, glitche a lot. Still! It's FREE!!

Kiss Asian is not that glitchy, though they have an annoying catpcha to deal with for every episode.

The KissAsian site gave me some problems and my antivirus software kicked in and said there was some sort of malware. But that was the URL that ends with ".es". They have different URLs. I think it depends on the country you're in.

I found this answer at Quora.

I watched more on romantic comedy dramas, less on the traditional ancient dramas.

Here are the lists:
Love in the Moonlight (2016)
Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (2016)
Strong Girl DO Bong Soon ( 2017)
The Lonely and the great God ( 2016)
Suspicious partner (2017)
While you were sleeping (2017)
Owner of the mask (2017)
The legend of the blue sea (2017)
The Liar and his lover (2017)
Dr Romantic (2016)
I am not a robot (2017)

Now I am watching Something in the Rain (2018)

Kissasian dont have viruses, Antivirus softwares just have a deal with film companies to say piracy sites are not safe so people will watch legally.

I must admit I sometimes do wonder when the Alert goes off if there is a real danger.

Sometimes I find goof entertainment at those putlocker and 123 sites.

I already know how to dodge the sketchy ads on piracy sites. Just make sure to click the tiny X from those ad boxes.

I just finished the 3 Detective K movies so I can add on to my Watched List. I enjoyed them. They had interesting "twists". Great if you're in the mood for lighthearted comedy. Think I might write up a quickie review.

Detective K: Secret of the Virtuous Widow (2011)
Detective K: Secret of the Lost Island (2015)
Detective K: Secret of the Living Dead (2018)

My first K-drama movie was Commitment (2013).
My first K-drama TV series was Tamra, the island (2009).

I have started about 5 TV series but have not finished watching them.
So many K-dramas. Not enough time. :D :D

I managed to finish 2 more K-dramas.
* Arang and the Magistrate
* Iljimae

Found them both on YouTube. They were very entertaining but I was little disappointed with the ending. Nevertheless one of my favorite South Korean actors was the main character, so I just had to watch them.

Any fans of Lee Joon‑gi? <3

About the Tamra the Island, Beojin should have ended with the white guy. Oh well the Korean audience is not yet ready for Interracial romance. Well Japan have Massan which is based on a true story of a Japanese man who married a Scottish woman. It is about the racism his wife have to deal with.

I have never heard or watched any of it but I found a good story and the title of the kdrama is “about time”. It is a story about a girl who sees the life span of a person, you should see it.

I've seen Love in the Moonlight. It's a very nice historical romance drama. I love Park Bo Gum.

Here's my list.

Goblin
Which Star are you from
Go Family Book
Boys Over flower
Strong Woman Do Bong Soon
Oh my Ghostes
Jewel in the Palace
...

I can't remember all but I already watched a lot of Kdramas.
