I am glad that movie succeed because the lead actor was bullied by Chinese social media and got called Ugly and Got bullied by Anti-SJW youtubers telling him his movie will flop. He won against the bullies.

Hey, I came to tell you that Shang-Chi is out now but you all seem to be on top of things. I didn't watch it though. I still have Stillwater, Free Guy, Old, and Candyman to see first. I like so many of this year's movies so far and those yet to come. They're too good, me can't keep up.

It was showing in 14 auditoriums at the cinema I went to and every one was full. Everybody came out it seems 🙂 People excited for real. And yup, a blast it was!

This is also the comeback film of the former child actor Ke Huy Quan. He is known for his roles in Indiana Jones and The Goonies. He quits acting for a long time because of shortage of Asian roles back then but the "Asian August" of 2018 inspired him to give acting a try and now he plays Michelle Yeoh's husband. Asian August was an event when all Hollywood hit movies of that time have an Asian lead. A huge progress from the times when we have to see White Actors play Son Goku and Johnny Rico.

I second all this! The trailer caught me off guard last night too. All the others were all too familiar then boom! "Mrs. Wang are you with us?" That stopped me yeah. Anything along this subject line is my kind of movie. I like that they used her as lead here and from the looks of it she won't disappoint.

You probably saw it by now and yes, it's worth the hype.

There's one coming out in February that I want to see. This dog is giving Channing the time of his life, lol. He's a living nightmare but they look good together. Channing is bad too so it's a perfect match.
