Re: I think Snow White remake will flop

As much as I'd like to support the remake... wow, this isn't the same story at all.

I don't care so much about non-white actors being cast or the inclusion of nonbinary characters, but I think at some point too many changes means that you should use a different title. I think this movie has reached that point.

Disneys fix turn the tall "dwarves" into cgi dwarves.so out of touch. People prefer actual people with dwarfism not cgi.

The snow white remake will definitely flop if this is the new storyline. I honestly do not get the reason behind all these remake.

This is their last minute damage control... It angers people more, why cant they just hire actual people with dwarfism since they Snow white adaptations is one of the only gigs they get as actors.

Well, the remakes always give directors so much headache which in this case possibly could have been the same case. I always want the same characters or at least the concept to remain the same. In this case, It seems at times Directors want to test the waters and showcase how they can play around in the scenes and show their prowess. Probably they already found a sponsor for the movie so even if it makes low sales on the box they will still have raised the budget spent.the advantage is that movies come with royalties everytime they are get air play.

Disney doesn't really need to "find sponsors" for movies.
