After the Success of Monster: Jeffrey Dahmer which has been the number 1 show of the year, to the point it made a weird population of creepy teenage girls online, They decided to make a tv franchise. It will have a season 2. They are now going to make 12 episode biopics of other serial killers. Most likely they will choose another handsome one like Richard Ramirez,Paul John Knowles, after the success Dahmer gave them or they will choose Aileen Wuornos or Vera Renczi for female empowerment. So crazy feminists will be like "OMG a female killer who kills guys, You go girl."

While I consider having something made to inform people of serial killers, I don't like the idea of a tv series dedicated to one. Makes it too focused on the guy, when the object should just be to inform. It makes it so that the guy's objective lives longer than it should.

I eat up this sort of stuff and love the crime channel. I like to get into the heads of these monsters to learn how they think. However, if indeed the series makers and Netflix are trying to glorify them by choosing the attractive ones with a huge following, then it's disgusting. Whatever has the world come to now?!

I was shocked Monsters Season 2 is not about a serial killer. Instead its about Menendez brothers, 2 rich kids who killed their mom and dad. Their dad has been raping them all their life and they mom rather save her marriage. The brothers snap and killed their parents. Makes you question who are the real monster the killers or the victims.

Is the full series about them or does the series cover different killers on different episodes? I enjoy Netflix crime documentaries, but some of them are very drawn out are much longer than they need to be and there is a lot of repetition within the shows.

Count me out. I watch K-drama fictional serial killers and that's more than enough. I'm actually rather distressed to know that there have been so many serial killers in this world, that Netflix can turn it into a UNIVERSE!!

Yeah, nah. I doubt there will be feminists praising a female serial killer. Not impossible, since feminists is a very broad section of the population (it just means you have one specific belief, and doesn't really tell you anything about the person's other beliefs) but I would hope you don't consider an idea like that to be a feminist one. Murdering people isn't about empowering women, even if the killer is a woman.

Personally I don't like this sort of true crime show. Murderers shouldn't be glamourised.

That is very worrisome. For example, in America, a lot of our serial killers are teenagers who shoot up schools. And don't split hairs by saying that's not serial killing, that's mass murder! I'll bet Netflix won't split hairs and will add them to the universe if it makes money!

I am not a big fan of any wrong thing glorified. They have done it for criminals and gangsters in many Bollywood movies. No life story justifies you to become a monster.
