Back in the 90s, there was a horror movie titled Anaconda. It stars Jennifer Lopez. It was her biggest break before Selena. And it kinda made her into a star. It launched her into a mainstream actress. And now there is a remake with Jack Black and Paul Rudd. And it's a comedy. It's confusing because it's supposed to be a remake of the Jennifer Lopez movie. But... It's a comedy. Not a serious, natural horror movie just like the original.

True, it shows modern creativity no doubt, but i hope they don't mess it up like they do most remakes.

It's true, turning Anaconda into a comedy is a surprising but also fascinating thing. Modern design tries new perspectives, and "meta" adds a unique flavor. While remakes can be flawed, given a good story and solid acting, we can enjoy the art in a new way.
