Rushing into a purchase is often a bad idea, not only do we often not get the best deal possible, we often end up buying things we don't really need or want. When we decide to buy something, if we can give ourselves a cooling off period of say a week, before making the purchase, we will often find a cheaper option or decide it is not something we really want at all.

Planning before buying is a golden advice! I do agree that although comparing the prices of different goods will consume extra time, it will still be worth it because of the amount that we can save.

I like to plan and that helps but yes many a times we cannot plan and we need to buy immediately but we need to avoid such situations

This is trur. Sometimes waiting helps us to save money. Wait until there is a big sale, you can save up to 50% off the normal purchase price

I do this all the time even offline I always try to compare prices of things I want to buy before buying. I know I will see a place that the price is a lot cheaper and I can save some money buying from there

Sometimes delaying will help you know that you didn't realky need that thing at that time. You can postpone buying it indefinitely which means saving money

It can be tough and may backfire as we may delay to see if its price will go down but instead it goes up so its a two sided sword but most of the times this tactic has helped me

Yeah this is another advantage of waiting, you would even save more money if you wait a little longer as even the price might go down as well and you would buy cheaper too

I think it's a lot especially for the. that I know there will be a lot of deals and discounts buy stores. you can just save you money and wait for this. especially if you don't need the things almost immediately
