I agree! I have been thinking about what to prepare for lunch this upcoming Sunday for my roommate and her boyfriend. Guess what I have been thinking about?! Either pasta Alfredo or German potato salad with sausage! What else should I prepare instead?

Both pasta Alfredo and German potato salad with sausage are hearty options. If you're looking for something to complement those dishes, you can try some fresh veggies salad.

I am very disappointed. As I prepare a lunch every Sunday for my roommate and her boyfriend, I look forward to the lunch. My roommate has informed myself that the 2 have other plans this Sunday. What should I prepare for just myself?

You could improvise something.

Improvise? Should I do a pantry challenge or should I do something special?

We have a 5-pound bag of potatoes. We have a box of orzo and a box of penne.

Such food just does not seem very enticing right now.

Since it’s just you, why not make something comforting just for yourself? Treat yourself, you’ve earned it.

So, that was last Sunday. This Sunday, returning to the routine. My roommate has requested Crock-Pot German Potatoes with Sausage.

I am not going to be able to chew on the dish as have no teeth on top now.

Maybe I might me able to nibble a little on the potatoes?

Anyway, I might prepare myself some orzo Alfredo or red sauce (cannot figure out which yet) or a Hammy Sammy (a very very soft sandwich).

Not a happy kitchen.

My pasta bowl melted in the microwave.

I found a cockroach in a bag of potatoes that we had gotten from the food pantry.

So much for attempting to have a Meatless Monday with pasta or potatoes.

We got new containers, right? The lids do not attach.

Do any of you ever have simple buttered noodles?
