Right! What good is any stretch of time in a life if it's not FUN (or done for the FUN that others can have)?

Yes, some activities do matter on social media.
And in case of having a YT channel, one occasionally needs to promote one's work on Twitter/Facebook etc.

People cannot dump social networking. Twitter, Facebook etc are still popular for various other reasons. Business companies will move to forums if forums become more popular.

Yes you are right, at the moment I only use Instagram, Telegram and WhatsApp. But not making money from there directly, only as a medium.

Lately, I spend some daily time at Quora, as it's a social I can't get rid of. At first, I found some inspiring financial themes (after Google researches) for my new e-books I yet monetize using Hive and Steemit and now my idea is also to try for the possibility of being hired by the staff to get paid to post questions.
