Amazon Prime takes $17.90 for a year subscription in India and if you just want Prime for free delivery and for your shopping and haven't liked or preferred Amazon music and movies then you should go for Amazon Shopping edition which only costs $4.77 a year and I got a discount of $2.99 as I used a coupon on that.

I didn't know they had that option to pay less for just shopping. As far as I know you don't even have to pay for delivery if you spend a certain amount each time you shop.

I have done that for some time but its irritating to add unwanted things when you don't need these but are going for a product that you are getting at a very low price and this is why I opt for Amazon prime shopping edition
