Yes. I have had heard stories that back links from forum sites are not so good for your site SEO and can even hurt a site if there are too many links. It is good only if the forum through which you are linking is relevant to your niche. My site's niche is Health and I have no idea how well that link will fit here.

Although, I have still decided to give it a try and see if it can bring me some visitors.
