I don't believe that there is a need to have an uniform method for website introductions and the first post sums up the forum quite well, in my opinion. The features of the forum are pretty much like most other forums, the key differentiator is the community and the benefit lies in this.

I don't quite understand your second sentence but I don't see how making money is the main criteria when joining forums, at the end of the day it's a general discussion forum not a money making site.
