Re: Looking for remote workers ($5-10+/hr)

I really started loving those image tasks, I know how boring those can be but I don't mind it anymore :D I just want tasks that don't involve calling and speaking and that pay at least $5/hr. I really wouldn't mind doing image categorization every day.

I didn't mind those either. Any non-phone tasks would be good right now. Just to make some money for Christmas at least. Ten cents is still good for the amount of work on the image tasks. It's still more than what it would be on another micro task site. Five dollars an hour online is good as long as it is consistent but unfortunately, that seems to be too much to ask.

Yes, this week was not so good for earning and we can just hope that other week will be better than this one. Some people are earning good money on those calls, but I will keep waiting for some categorization tasks to become available.

I smell a G.I.R.L.
Anyways, I hope there will be non-call tasks this Monday. All they do lately is add more call tasks, lucky for those people who do them. Maybe there are only few mistakes this time around, since they are not giving out audit tasks. D:

I was hoping for that during this whole week, I don't know what to expect anymore. I am checking the site from time to time but there are just new call tasks every time I check. I worked for only one hour during this week and I can only hope that there will be non-call tasks during the next week.

Even call tasks are drying out. I did a few of them but had to skip some calls again because of the language barrier. Some hotel employees barely speak English. Even then, no one was rude and it was a lot easier to extract hotel information because they are on the sales side and they have to be accommodating.

This just isn't a fabulous week but I hope that next week will be a great one for non-call tasks.

EDIT: There are non-call tasks right now!

I didn't expect they'll put up pylons and barrels annotations tasks or any non-call tasks for that matter. I was waiting for image categorization tasks. This was even sweeter. What I thought was a bad week just turned into a good one in an hour. :D

That is all there is still today. I think that this is all they will ever have. I feel like a fool for feeling so excited about all the money that I was making the first 3 weeks I worked on the site. But I guess I should be happy I was able to add that to my earnings even if it was short lived.

Yeah, but those earnings may repeat soon. They will probably add a bunch of non-call tasks again in the near future. I still remember some good days in first two weeks of November when I was earning $50 to $60 for a couple of hours of easy job.

for some reason my dashboard is empty, have they banned me already? omg I can't believe this its been a month since I haven't receive any tasks from them. Hopefully they will reply to my inquiry, I haven't sent several emails to their support however they didn't replied yet.

Didn't you say that you had about $3 worth of tasks that were put on hold? I think that at this point, you have no option but to wait for their response.

I'm thinking positive, too. They may slow down near the holidays but I'm expecting a flood of tasks for the next two or three weeks.

Yeah, and also it is in their best interest to provide more tasks for us to do. More tasks we do, more commission they earn from finished projects. They probably want to get more non-call tasks since they are usually done very fast.

Would be great to have more tasks and earn some extra cash for the holidays but I think we'll have to wait for the new year..

Well, I don't think they can do much about getting new non-call tasks. it's all about the people who need this type of work to be done and there are enough alternatives where such tasks can be complete - mturk, crowdflower, spare5, etc. Would be great to have more tasks and earn some extra cash for the holidays but I think we'll have to wait for the new year..

I know that, you're right. All we can do is either start doing those call tasks or wait for whatever non-call tasks we can get. There is nothing we can do except waiting and hoping for new tasks.

Hey guys, did anybody participate in identifying construction objects tasks? I just saw those tasks but there were only 2 of them left.

I was able to do some of them for less than $2. There were about 1,100 when I saw the tasks. As you might expect, it was over soon enough.
