Re: Looking for remote workers ($5-10+/hr)

Postby morgoodie » 14 Nov 2017, 17:24

No we sure weren't. I made $4.50 which is $1 more than yesterday. With so many people on the site, loading took awhile after I hit submit. Once it even came up with an error and didn't load at all. I had to close the tab and reopen the site. So in that time, I could have done at least one more and I don't even know if I got credit for the one I was submitting when the error occurred. If that is all they are going to have in a day then we are going to be done making a lot of money in a week there.

They still have a lot of call tasks, it looks that they got mostly that kind of tasks for this week.

--- 14 Nov 2017, 19:58 ---

What happened to all that call tasks? Have they pulled them out or somebody did all of them?

They have more call tasks up now. Nearly 900 for one set. I was hoping they would have more of the other tasks by now. I guess maybe I might have to suck it up and try some of the calls if I am going to make any more money. LOL

I hope everything is okay with your account and the support gets back to you soon. Didn't someone else here have this problem? Let us know what is going on when you find out. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

Thanks a lot, I am really impatient to get their reply. I don't realize if I made mistakes or if it is because of some other reason. I will inform you all about it if I get an answer from them.

I hope you get things straightened out, @Amelll as that is alarming. I took the Spanish qualification test yesterday. Unfortunately, I didn't have an Upwork account and had to make one on a rush. It took time, though, and the task expired. Now, it appears that there's only one chance at it as it keeps prompting that there are no more tasks left although one task is still showing. Oh well, it's probably not for me, but I'll still try support if I can retake.

Hope you get a reply from them but it looks strange not to have any tasks available after you log in.

they only have PayPal as payment method but you can ask their support for Payoneer option in the future.
Btw - if someone is fluent in Spanish there are tasks available

Hope you get a reply from them but it looks strange not to have any tasks available after you log in. They must be doing some quality checks of the tasks we submit like CrowdFlower does, otherwise some people will exploit the site and just submit work as fast as they can without worrying too much. I try to be as careful as possible and submit tasks only if I'm sure.

I really hope I will get an answer to my question from them. I was also trying to do all tasks correctly, without hurry and mistakes. I just don't know what happened all of a sudden. I would really like to know if I made some mistakes or if it is something else.

Still haven't heard anything? I see they have some Spanish tweets tasks, but I don't speak Spanish. I wonder if they are going to put the other tasks up at the same time they did yesterday. I just want to get to them and get them done. Good luck.

Good luck to you with tasks, I doubt I will ever see a new task on Hybrid or even receive an explanation for blocking me from doing any task. Anyway, it was the great earning those two weeks and I would like to find such a good online working opportunity again someday.

Oh don't say that, my friend. You may still get the opportunity with them. They may be busy and just haven't gotten back with you yet. Keep thinking positive thoughts. I can't imagine that you made that bad of a mistake that they would have blocked you without them telling you. It could be a glitch.

As of yet they haven't put the tasks up yet, so I am still waiting and doing some other sites in the meantime. I hope they put them up soon. It's like waiting in line at the grocery store.

I thought that yesterday too, but now this waiting for their reply is really killing me. :D Thank you for encouraging me and for being supportive. I am really trying to think positive while waiting for their reply.

You're welcome. I understand it is hard to stay positive in situations like this. I am the type of person that always thinks the worst, but it usually turns out better. I don't know how long is normal when waiting for a reply from the admin on this site, but I hope they don't make you wait too much longer.
