My Japanese friend is the one who introduced me to using ginger in my cooking. I told her I was trying to cook Asian food but it always felt like it was "missing something". She said I probably wasn't using ginger. First dish I made using ginger and the difference in the taste was amazing!! Later on, my husband developed a heart condition and that was when we figured out we could use ginger to make tea. The health benefits of ginger are miraculous! I'm not exaggerating. Now I discover there is such a food seasoning known as blue ginger and I'm like:
