I have been trying to do it myself, however I am not a video editor. I don't have time to learn, So I just want to hire an editor to get this done. I simply need some things cut out of it in a way that makes sense. The unedited video is 10 minutes long, I need it to be cut to no longer than 7 minutes.
We did the video in only 2 takes so there is much that can and needs to be cut out. We know our acting sucks, so please don't comment on it. The context of the video is that I play an alien life form visiting earth on a scout mission to learn about human life from Americans, And thus begins a discussion about American Culture.
Here's the objectives: Cut the video down to no less than 4 minutes, no more than 7 (as close as you can get if over), Do this without removing important parts to the video or that give information on the topic, get it to me by the time mentioned above. If any one of these criteria are not met you won't be paid, if you are late you won't be paid, if multiple people do this job I will pay the one that I believe does the best job the full amount and give the other participants (only if they also met all of the criteria mentioned above) a fraction amount for trying to be helpful.
Note: I am not picky against jumpcuts, but in the intro you can shorten the part where the guy is walking into the room, but you still have to see him for a second or so before he sits down. The video will be emailed to all willing participants, That said once the video is sent successfully with confirmation by my the file is to be deleted from your computer.
