Please have a look at our About topic. The purpose of that topic is to explain the ForumCoin concept to first time visitors and hence encourage them to join and begin participating on the forum.

Do you have any suggestions as to how we could improve that topic? What can we do to make it easier to understand for first time visitors and to encourage them to start posting on the forum?

I will give 150 ForumCoin to the two suggestions I like best.

Thanks for the suggestion Shole. We have a topic that does that, but you are absolutely right, it is not clear from that About page. May add the info there or perhaps a link to it.

I think Free .com / .net / .org Domain names with Free Cpanel Hosting can get the attention. It would be good for Webmasters seeking one for ForumCoins or anyone who likes to build their own website with their names.

I think that it would be nice to add information on how to exchange the ForumCoin's for some of the listed options (Paypal, Amazon). As of right now unless i didn't see it, i don't think there is anywhere stating how to exchange it for the listed options which is something i think most people would love to know.

I know this is over, but there is no indication as to how joining Forum Coin would benefit you. Take other forums for example, you can earn forum currency and exchange it for posts, domain names and in some cases, hosting. Why would Forum Coin benefit that person to join over other communities?

I joined Forum Coin because I think it's a great idea, not because it's an invaluable asset over other communities, as I have stated, you can get pretty much what you get here else where.

I definitely think you need to entice the person browsing to join and explain why Forum Coin will benefit them in the future, especially over other communities.

EDIT: adding on to what Shole said about displaying how many points we receive for a new reply or topic, there is a page for this here: points.php?mode=info - For some reason, it does not indicate how many we receive for a new reply or topic, only for warnings, registrations and referrals.

I think that a good thing that the site could offer is contests for the news users, like for example like below:

If you register on site, you will earn 50 fc = U$0.50, free to use!

The site could be psn voucher, like today many persons around the world have video game will be a good way to the news users.

Well I would first like to point out that NOWHERE in that topic is pointed out what the value is of 1 FC
Should be easy to figure out for new members, but writing it down over there would also greatly help, for sure when you add the earnings table over there also

Another little thing I would suggest, is to use images
Like make a image of 1 FC = $0,01 as well for the AGC and other services

Infographic or roadmap would be nice! Take a look at Bitcointalk Altcoin section (when DDOS stopped). You will see many successful coin have a graphical roadmap. It make it look more professional and trust able. However, it could greatly affect the SEO of ForumCoin since we do not use text anymore.

I know. ForumCoin is not created from another coin. It is created using PHPBB and modified plugin. I'm just suggesting to use a graphic to tell users what ForumCoin is about.
