Why? Forums are known for duplicate content and the use of "ugly links" with many parameters. Some of these pages are indexed although they are the same.

1. Implement the canonical Tag
Forums often have many variants of the same URL, something that can cause issues. Google is now getting better at understanding these but they are not 100% spot on yet. Implementing the tag is very simple and if done right will stop any mishaps. .

2. Keyword Rich Homepage Title
The current homepage title is very bland and boring should contain more keywords. Index Page should be completely removed and keywords you would like the forum to rank for should be inserted.

3. Improved Navigation

This will ensure all categories are easily accessible for search engine bots to crawl between as well as easier for new guest to have a quick look around the site..
