Hello,

Part of our strategy to introduce full 24/7 support is to directly take on a few support operators and thus we are taking applications. :)

What is the job?

Answer basic support, sales and billing queries (depending on your level of skill you may be able to solve more difficult issues) mainly via Live Chat (but also via support ticket).

You will be given access to our live chat software, whmcs, cpanel and our SolusVM master to complete tasks.

We also expect you to be "ambassadors" for holderhost. This means displaying holderhost in signatures, be generally helpful on forums and promoting us. By doing this you will also be benefiting yourself through higher affiliate commissions and the increased use of our live chat desk.

What we are looking for:

- Good command of the English language.
- Experience administering websites.
- People who spend a good amount of time online.
- People with Skype / Google Accounts for communication.

What will this position pay?

We will pay per chat/ ticket:
(Support) Live Chat/ Ticket Resolution: $2.
(Sales) Live Chat/ Ticket Resolution: $1.5.
Non Resolution – Ticket Submitted (Live Chat Only): $0.50.

AND you will also receive affiliate commissions for referring clients. We offer 20% recurring on shared / reseller hosting and a fixed one-off commission for VPS/ Server hosting.

To Apply:
Please complete the following application form and send it to me via PM.

Code: Select all
Full Name:
Age:
Location/ Timezone:
Email:
Skype ID:
How many hours are you online?
What hosting services have you used?
What webmaster experience do you have?
Please securely provide a scanned copy of an official ID. This can be deleted after we have seen it.

Plato and myself will review all applicants and let you know the outcome.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask! :D

Uhm is it a must to provide an Official ID? I don't really have one of those anymore considering I am kind of stuck here in this country...

Any form of photo ID to prove you are who you say you are is fine. :)

Which country are you stuck in Jybraek? :P

@Sam, I don't really feel comfortable providing a Photo ID (which would have to be a state driver's license). Do you have other alternatives?

Baring in mind the access granted to those people, I do think it is important that proof of ID is provided however personally I would still not be keen on providing it.

Is there a minimum activity requirement such as x hours per week or x live chat or ticket resolutions per week?

- We really just need to be able to prove you are who who say you are. Any document which can attest to that would be helpful. :)

- I completely understand. I specified securely i.e. uploaded somewhere where the scan can be deleted. We don't intend on holding onto a copy. Once I have verified that the scan matches your name, I will let you know and you can delete it. However as we are giving access to Solus, WHMCS and cPanel it is important.

- No there isn't. We mainly want people who are online a lot, doing other things and can have the live chat tab open. I am unsure how many requests an operator will receive but hopefully it will grow to a decent number over time. Most of these requests will be very simple (i.e. solvable in less than 5 minutes). If they aren't, and you can't solve it, just get the client to submit a ticket.

That should be fine! We really want our live chat operators to earn a decent amount as well. The more people that we can encourage to check out holderhost, the more live chat operators will earn. :D

We have taken some people on board but we are waiting for two of them to send through an ID copy. They might decide this is not for them so I would like to leave applications open for another week. :)
