I think this is done using the donate button. Which we all have a donate button showing by our ForumCoins. Like for instance as I type this post I see you were the previous poster and there is a donate button.

If clicking on it there is a box to transfer and a place to add a message and this "Here you can transfer a few ForumCoin. Simply add the name and the amount of points of the user you like to donate and click send. The transfer will be logged in your log files." Hope that helps

I have just confirmed this fact. I am hoping OP has not faced some calamity that has drawn him from forumcoin for this long.
