Need someone to test PayPal purchase

Postby Hugop » 18 Mar 2016, 13:28

I am going to start a hosting service and would like if anyone could test it out to see if everything works fine.

If it works fine, you keep the hosting plan and your money back in FC (10FC).
If the payment has been successfully sent but the hosting plan is not working or something else, you get the money back in FC and the hosting plan when it is fixed.
If the payment doesn't work, please send me the error message and I am going to pay you 5FC.

The hosting plan costs 0.1$/monthly right now but I am going to change it to $1 when it works fine.

Thanks for testing :)

I created an account.I tried to host my domain by transferring from another registrar. It did not work. I even tried to register a new domain with HostDrops, and it also did not work. I think the problem exist because of box for domain extension. It does not show any extension option and also do not allow to type extension.

Nope, domain thing doesn't work. You have to fix that. I will test it when you do.

Domains are currently not being sold because I want to test the hosting first.

I am going to see what the problem is with PayPal. Seems like the money has been successfully sent but the system doesn't know about it.

Thanks for the refund, bonus FC as well as hosting. I can see that my hosting account is live, I can even access cpanel. I have installed a forum software. However, I cannot access my domain. How do I make my domain live?

You need to purchase the domain to make it live, the plan you have purchased is only for hosting.

The domain that I have associated with the hosting account is registered at namecheap. I was able to install a forum software on my domain. However, I cannot access the access my domain. Is this because I have not pointed to your nameserver? How do I do it.

On NameCheap, Go to your domain and you see DNS options. Put Custom DNS in and then add ns1.hostdrops.com and ns2.hostdrops.com. Click the green ✅ and it saves your new nameservers.

Everything is working fine, no bugs/errors have been found yet. Just need to make a great theme to make HostDrops 100% ready.

I am going to close this because PayPal purchases seem to work fine. If not, PM me ;)
