No, but you can check the alexa rank of any webpage that you visit instantly. There is nothing wrong if the installed software collects certain information but does not interfere with your privacy

Alexa is extremely reputable and have been around for years. They are also owned by Amazon, so you shouldn't have any viruses coming from them.
