Best European destination?

Postby Coinlv » 13 Aug 2015, 18:03

Do any ForumCoin users have any suggestions or fond memories of their own experiences as solo travellers in European cities?

I would never have the courage to traipse around the world on my own. Plus I'd feel lonely and bored. I have however, enjoyed Paris, Rome and Copenhagen with family and friends. I'd go back to any of those in a heartbeat. Ok, I've been to London on my own, but not as a tourist. I lived there for a year and LOVED it.

Come to Portugal ;) It's my country but it's beautiful! We have amazing lovely beaches, warm and nice weather, nice people, delicious food and beautiful locations to explore! Our capital is so rich in pretty buildings and has a lot to explore. Also, you can find stunning places in the mountains! I love my own country as a vacation destiny to be honest! Also, a lot of our people are good with english so it will be super easy to find someone to communicate with and help you around!

This summer I went to Moscow with my son for vacation. It was summer there also. But the temperature there was 15 degree with slight drizzles and slight chilly winds. Also we went St. Petersburg. One U go there, you get a feeling that you had gone back to the Czar era. Both the cities are beautiful, neat and clean and wherever you turn you can see colorful flowers of all types. Sun sets at 11 pm and rises at 4 am. Only problem is language. 90% of the people speak only Russian. Otherwise very good place to go and enjoy.

I haven't travelled to Europe, but i have heard and read so much about the beauty of Switzerland, my dream destination would be that and i would grab the first chance i get to visit that country.

I have travelled back and forth to France quite a bit in my time so I have some very fond memories dating right back to my teens. I like Germany too although I have not visited more than twice.
