Anxiety

Postby Spontaneo » 30 Sep 2025, 02:51

Do any of you suffer from anxiety? If so, what kind?

Lately, when I go to the cafe, I get anxiety.

Lately, when I have an appointment, I get anxiety.

I do have a nurse practitioner but I have not been told yet when the next appointment is scheduled.

No worries though.

The only anxiety I am having now are the possibilities of war. I already served the military. I do not want to use a gun again. I had enough PTSD. I don't want to use a gun again.

Absolutely, I can relate to that. Anxiety can be quite challenging in social situations and appointments. It's great that you're in touch with a professional. Hang in there!

What is really strange is that if I pack a lunch meat sandwich or 2 and some diet Cokes, I do not feel as bad.

I often get anxiety on various things like my business, or trying to sort out one thing or the other but am trying to work on it though.

I get that café and appointment anxiety too—it hits me out of nowhere sometimes. For me, just having a small routine, like sitting in the same spot or bringing a little fidget, helps. On rougher days, using THC for ADHD in a controlled way helped me feel calmer without zoning out completely.
