Pop Broadband Cost

Postby Sam » 29 Sep 2013, 23:02

How much does your broadband cost and what do you get for it?

Broadband for me is $79 NZ per month with phoneline and 80Gb of data. Prices have come down a lot. Two years ago you were paying $90NZ and getting 40GB. :)

We got a deal for a year with BT (British Telecom). We paid £110 (roughly) for a year and now we only pay a fee of £9 a month. The speeds have been great and for £9, we are getting unmetered bandwidth.

I usually get a download speed of around 300-400KBPS. There have been times it's gone up to around 800-900KBPS, but that's very rare. I'm quite happy with the 300-400.

Oh that is really poor then, its like the old modem era. It must be hard downloading bigger files.
