Well, some things in life are really hard to understand.
So is the weather these days!

The day starts with bright sunlight early on - by around 6.30 AM.
Then it gets humid and the sun kind of tests one's patience and energy.
By late afternoon, there is a sudden turnaround and the clouds gather.
Then suddenly, we have a dust storm followed by some rains and by late evening, the sun is back just before the dusk.

And it is not yet the official start of Monsoons here and well, we have 12 to 14% excess rainfall is predicted.
Keeping our fingers crossed !

Stable weather gives a big peace of mind!
As I write this at 17:16, we had strong dusty winds followed by light rains.

And guess what?

In the afternoon, it was hot and humid - close to 40 C !!

Summer definitely start this year. Temperatures are 32C but good news therea not heawaves. Next week some refreshment is coming so it will lower chanes for heat waves.

Sometimes very short burst of rains can bring in just a little relief but it gets hot again and it becomes more humid and sticky as well.

Yes, even here we had one of the wettest Mays, quite uncharacteristically so no heat wave till now.
Yet, mercury has shot up to 39 C so we cannot say about the future days.

Yes, the Monsoon rains are the ones which bring in a lot of relief although Monsoons are days of heavy rains followed by intervening period of no rains and humid and warm days.

What is the maximum temperature you have in your place? Does it crosses 40 C?
Is it Humid as well?
Today is a very hot and Humid day and I feel it very difficult to remain without AC.

I am not surprised reading the OP as this was predicted well in advance. However, I am away from home in sub zero temprature so I can only imagine the weather conditions around Delhi. This year is execeptional besides the number of bombs and misiles shot in the neiborhood must have made it worse.

Well, that was in May.
One missile was reportedly fired towards Delhi, but it was intercepted over Sirsa, much far from Delhi.
