Sun Tea Jars and The Spring Clock Change

Postby Spontaneo » 09 Mar 2025, 22:42

Are you confused with the Spring clock change?

There is a purchase that I want to take advantage of and that is a new sun tea jar! I buy a new sun tea jar every year.

I usually buy such jars at yard sales. However, I do not want to wait. A local grocery store is selling sun tea jars for $5.00 each. Yay!

So, how about you? Do you like sun tea jars? ;) ;)

Hello @Fergal,

Sun tea jars are huge jars with a spout on the bottom. You fill them up with water and tea bags then place them in the sun for hours. Once brewed to your liking, place in your fridge to chill.

Sounds good Spontaneo, is the tea nice from them? What type of tea bags do you put in there?

Delicious! There are days when the weather is bad that I simply brew indoors in my kitchen. Whichever way that you brew the sun tea, make room in your fridge to chill. I like black tea bags, but you can use whatever tea bags that you like. I like to use 12 tea bags.
