Last year, I was given a new pair of white New Balance sneakers and a new package of white socks. I placed the gifts in my basement for safe keeping for when I would need the gifts.
Yesterday, I needed the gifts.
So, I went down to the basement. I looked at where I had placed them exactly. The gifts were not there.
I tore the basement apart. Nada.
Next, I tore my closet apart. No sneakers. No socks.
I am very upset. A curse.
However, while tearing my closet apart, I did find a bag of Polos that I had bought at last summer's yard sales and had forgotten all about. Such shirts are much-needed. I actually had bought the shirts to donate to my church for Christmas, but I had a falling out with my church the week before Christmas. Anyway, I can sure use the shirts. A blessing.
About the new sneakers and new socks, would you say a prayer that I may find the lost presents? I would appreciate it.
Thank you.
Do you ever lose an item then find an item while tearing your house apart?
