This time we have Cricket as well. Else I have a keen interest in Athletics, Badminton, Field Hockey and Swimming.
I might be however watching more of the Highlights and recordings due to time and work constraints.

It's interesting to know about the Afghanistan team. I was not aware of that. Thank you for sharing.
Yes, India has been winning good medals. I might try to share more discussions as time permits.
I have not checked out on which Afghan team has been winning more or any related news.

It's China, Japan and South Korea at the top.
Population wise, one might have thought of India as topping, but it is only in the recent decades that we have an uptick in quality players and results in Sports apart from Cricket.
Even Hockey is on resurgence after a few decades.
We now have better sponsorship, more sports facility, better coaches and more funding.
Still, a long way to go.
And at a tally of 53, it is much better than many of the previous Asian games.
