I cannot practice yoga.

A few years ago, I did chair yoga only once.

After the yoga, I went to shower and nearly fell asleep in the shower. I could have fallen and gotten hurt.

Well, maybe you can't do 'all the poses a Swami shows you,' but--as @cmoneyspinner said in the topic where I learned that September was national yoga month--"Yoga" really means 'Unite.' 'Whatever you need to do to unite your body, mind and spirit' counts as "Yoga" to the only one whose opinion matters.

"Unite" comes from a wordroot that means "make into One, Unique"---which is also the root of "Unites, United, Uniting, Uniter, Uniters, Disunite, Disunites, Disuniting, Reunite" (those are words my source gives as "Related," but I imagine "Unanimous, Unary, Une, Uni-, Uniate, Unilateral, Uncial, Union, Unionize, Unison, Unity & Unities" are also related---among other words that spring from that P.I.E. wordroot).
