Mane is hurt but it will travel with Senegal team. Probably he will be ready for last 10 minutes or just last game.
Benzema got hurt to and he will skip entire tournament.

When a team is dependent on a single player or a group of players then those players' injury hinders their chances and more so in Football.

Today I watched 3 games and every one was very good. All teams show speed and strenght. I hope Croatia will increase pace otherwise we will have problems. In first game against Marocco, pace was to slow so game end without goals.

Well, I got hold of the Japan's win by 2-1 vs Spain and that caused Germany's elimination from World Cup !
May be this world cup throws a new champion.

Portugal won versus Switzerland with 6-1 without Cristiano Ronaldo.
He was a substitute and entered on minute 73, at that point the score was already 5-1.
His replacement was Goncalo Ramos which did a great job on his debut, he scored a hat-trick for Portugal.

Latest player went home is Gabriel Jesus from Brazil. Arsenal attacker will be out for 3 months. Bad news for Arsenal but good for Croatia, next Brazil opponent.

Yes, that was a great win. Yet after that, Morocco shocked Portugal by 1-0 in the quarter final.

Looks all teams in semifinal don't have much problems with players. Some skip some training but nobody got hurted so he can't play anymore.

Impressive wins by Morocco, first it was against Belgium in the group stage, then eliminated Spain and Portugal.
All of that without one of their important players Amine Harit, who got injured before the start of the World Cup. He is now back in Qatar, but is still recovering and will give moral support ahead of the semi-final with France.

Morocco lost but well, the fact that they reached so far is a big big achievement by itself.

At end Argentina won tournament. I am not fan since to many time judge give them advance. I don't like French to but they game trough tournament was more clean.

For injuries, we saw yesterday how several players during game Croatia vs Morroco barely finish it. Tournament was hard in that sense but we will see how those players will play rest of club season.

The final was a thrilling match, amazing comeback by France via the two goals by Mbappe under two minutes in regular time and then another comeback in extra time.
There were rumours before the match that Karim Benzema could be available to play for France in the final, which were disproven by it's coach Didier Deschamps amid their broken relationship.

It had to go to penalties for Argentina to win and Messi, who scored 2 goals in this game, finally received the elusive trophy he craved for.

I had idea France will be stronger in head, especially after two comebacks, but they didn't shoot penaly good. Also Argentina manage come back again. They lost two goals advantage from Netherland to.

Penalty shootout becomes a battle of nerves!
In that, Argentina succeeded but France succumbed to pressure.
Frankly, I would have liked a new winner like Croatia but well, Argentina is the final winner!

Many top teams are coping with injuries to some of its key players as the FIFA World Cup, which will begin on November 20, approaches.

These prominent athletes will miss the World Cup due to injuries.
Some, like Pele, not only took part in the competition more than once, but they also won the trophy more than once.
