You could also go to the AAA for driving options.

There are no real tourist attractions where I live. There are mainly restaurants. How about you? If so, why not go out for an all you can eat breakfast, an all you can eat lunch and an all you can eat dinner!

One of the Philippines' top tourist destinations is my city. My hometown is called Baguio City, and it is referred to as the "Summer Capital of the Philippines." During summer vacation, I usually visit the places here and hunt some photos for my blogging stunt.

I like to go to yard sales in my part of town. Treating myself to bargains is a challenge.

Just don't go in debt because of summer vacation. Like you say, there are other types of fun without big debt. I didn't go at sea for 15 years since I could not afford it. Summer will past. Vacation is just one year story.

It's mostly farmland where I live. I mean fields, not cute but stinky animals.
Very boring place overall, yet there are people who live in the city that own vacation houses here and will come visit during the summer.
I think it's all about doing something different from usual, even a picnic in a green area if bugs allow.
If there's water around, like a river or a creek, even better... there are usually trees there, which mean nice shade when needed.

Absolutely! I would not relax though! I would want to accomplish every little thing that I could!

Not my idea of living. When our kids were growing up we owned a mobile home at the beach where we stayed a lot and rented out when we were not there, so when they all grew up we sold it and bought a Platinum Elite Timeshare Membership so we could take vacations all year long. Right now we are at the beach in Seaside, Oregon walking in the rain and having a great time.

One of my favorites is right around the corner. Norma's is one of the few Fish and Chips on any menu that includes Albacore and I like that better than Cod or Halibut.

I get Fish and Chips with Cold Slaw on the side. I guess that's a meal. My wife and I split a 7 piece and it's all we can eat.

If you can go at sea as vacation go in some nearby pools. Also you can take vacation in some spa center. Those are much closer and it will be cheaper. Two or three times will spend you time and entire vacation.

There is a new mall here and people from all over the place are visiting it . Other than that there is a beach and a few hours of drive from my city there is a hillstation . Other than that not sure if there is any tourist attraction place here in my city

@oldbuddy,When I lived with my loved ones, we would go to local bars where they had fish, chips and coleslaw. I had pizza. However, there was a small restaurant on a dirt road from home called Lou's Fish where we had all-you-can-eat fish for a really good cost! Then, there is always Long John Silver's where I ask for extra crunchies (spare batter that nobody wants).

A lot of people enjoy swimming pools, personally, I don't like public swimming pools at all, i never go to the hotel's pool, I always prefer the beach.
