If the showing of Indian athletes in the Tokyo Summer Olympics 2020 was encouraging,
the show put up by the Indian athletes in the Tokyo Paralympics 2020 was excellent and beyond imagination.
Athletes won Gold, Silver and Bronze and many of them. Frankly, I have not been able to keep a count. Among the winners was a District Magistrate (DM) of a Northern Indian city of Noida(equivalent to a Mayor of a city).
There were many inspirational stories. The athletes did their country a lot of proud.
What was even more heartening has been the support and the accolades that people bestowed on these athletes on social media, including by many sportspersons.

Thanks ptrikha21 and well done to those athletes. Ireland also did well in some events there, it is a great achievement for the athletes and everyone involved in helping them. The Paralympics are very motivational and it is amazing to see how the athletes can perform to such a high level, without letting anything stand in their way.

Yes truly amazing performances given the fact that we in India still do not have many facilities or arrangements for disabled people that can help them in many professions. Some even have to overcome social dogmas and hindrances.
So their performances are great.
One Plus which I can see is that now Paralympics have greater coverage, may be sponsorship and big fan following on social media especially Twitter.
