Excited about World Cup Cricket 2019?

Postby ptrikha21 » 20 Apr 2019, 09:31

World Cup Cricket 2019 is about to start in England and Wales in less than two months. I am keeping a tab on the cup news, which teams have been chosen, which Indian players have been selected and why, and who have been left out.
So how many of you are keenly awaiting for the cup?

Not so much since I don't follow cricket. But I'm excited about end of English Premier League.

I will watch every match even though time zone might create some problems in doing so.

I like to watch cricket matches, but I am not interested in IPL. I read about selected team. I am in favor of Kartik than Pant. It is good for me that Kartik is selected.

I think this year's EPL had some surprises?

Yes India has a great chance provided the team overcomes challenges from England, South Africa and the Kiwis.

Yes by the time the matches are about to end, it would be past 11 pm.
But I recall that watching matches in England was a fun during the 1999 world Cup.

Karthik's batting style could be more favourable to the English conditions.
Yet Pant would also get his chances going forward.

WI's players are playing well in IPL. So WI is also a prospective winner.

And the way Dhoni, Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma are playing and with Virat Kohli in a great touch, and with one of the best ever bowling attacks with Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja and more, India has one of the best teams.
But we have to be watchful of the English team which has the home advantage and one of its best ODI sides with players like Bairstow, Ben Stokes, Joe Root, Anderson, Sam Curran, Eoin Morgan, Jos Butler, David Wiley and Chris Woakes. And Kiwis can also spring a surprise.
But I am sure, India would find answer to various challenges.

India is strong team but in IPL attitude of Kohli is not good one. It may be problem in world cup.
