Was looking at the hashtags on Twitter this morning and noticed they have a hashtag called #FunFriday and folks share things they think are fun. I already do a #FoodieFriday. Hashtags with the word “Friday” in them are very popular on most social media; not just Twitter.

Here's an example of a FunFriday tweet:
To participate in this thread a person posted this tweet: Write a word that rhymes with cat.

Yeah. So uumm … being that I'm not really a cat person, I skipped that tweet. Not my idea of fun. Apologies to all the cat lovers in this community.

But I still like the idea of sharing something that's fun. That I think is fun!

So here's my share for Fun Friday.

Yesterday was my Friday. I went holiday shopping and ate at Cracker Barrel with my sister and nieces. lol Today we bought our tree and will be decorating it tomorrow.

Thanks for sharing that article. I found it to be really interesting. I never really thought about middle names or why we have them. I have known people who don't have them and in this day and age it seems uncommon. When I named my children, I didn't go for the common middle name especially for my daughter. Everybody seems to use Ann or Marie for the middle name. My son's middle name is my father's name so it is like he is carrying on my father, if that makes sense.

Yes it does make sense. My husband's father has the two names of his grandfathers and my husband says his two names come from his grandfathers. Not sure if that's a tradition in his country or that's just the way his parents wanted it. As for my own children, my husband came up with the names and I agreed. My kids were not named for our relatives. We had our own naming convention and broke with that tradition. Glad you liked the article.
