Well not particularly. It's fun to play, not so much to watch. I suppose one-dayers aren't too bad. I was much more interested in Cricket when I was younger.... I should've got tickets to some of the pool matches seen as we're co-hosting with Australia.

I don't watch the sport and cricket really isn't popular or well known here in Ireland, very few people actually play it here. However, I was delighted to hear that Ireland had an historic win over the West Indies in the World Cup. Hopefully our team can continue to do well and progress to the next round.

Sam I thought you'd be an enthusiast, especially your country hosting and also doing so well, NZ are the top favorites this time.
And Fergal, yes Ireland are doing really well too.
India have done great in their two games so far.
I'm supporting Pakistan obviously, and as they have lost the two games so far, I'm pretty disappointed, I hope they can manage to make the QFs now, and from then on its just a day game, anybody can win on the day.

haha. Yeah. The last time I went to a professional game of cricket was nearly 10 years ago (NZ v Australia). NZ are doing pretty well, which is surprising. The talent pool we have to draw on is much smaller than countries like India, Australia, England etc.

If you look at New Zealand v England, we won pretty much on the performances of Brendon McCullum and Tim Southee. Two people don't make a team.

But you only need two or three players to perform on the day to win the game of One Day, but what makes a team strong is that not only one or two guys are gonna keep doing it, so you need other guys that when the big players fail, those can step up and do the job.
And NZ for one certainly have players that can do that, players like Kane Williamson, Ross Taylor, Ronchi, Boult and Cory Anderson are all match winners on their day and are in good form too which makes NZ a very dangerous side in this world cup.
And actually they are my third favorites after Pakistan and South Africa. So I hope they do well.

I Saw this match aswell , that was very outstanding performance of Ireland's player , made history with this match .. Congratulate Fergal your country Cricket Team is doing Great in World-cup 2015 .. Hope in future this team will be one of best team in cricket ranking ..

Yes that was a huge win for you, even bigger than the previous game because you were losing it and in the end just snatched from UAE, and also this means that you just need to win one more game and you could be in the QF, very concerning for me as I am a Pakistan supporter.

That would really be great for the game of Cricket I'd say, but you can't right off Australia, ever, not in the big matches especially. They are really good when it comes to winning the world cups

Was supporting SA too but they are out too now, great match with NZ. NZ in the final for the first time. Now supporting them for the title.

I am an ardent crcketier and has also umpired ranji trophy matches . i love south africa to win the cup they failed due to bad luck as well as last minutes pressure, since i am a n indian naturally i love my country to lift the cup.

I am not really a fan of cricket but I just came to know that India lost to Australia. The match was really tight. Also, I have seen lots of people supporting South Africa though they didn't make it.
