Next, every Sunday, I prepare lunch for the roommate and her boyfriend after their church services. The 2 tell myself what the 2 want.
This upcoming Sunday, they want eggs and sausage links. The roommate's boyfriend likes alot of side dishes so I can choose the sides. A friend on weight loss buddy said to serve cinnamon butter toast. Do any of you know what other sides to serve?

One of my kids used to work for a company, and one of their employee perks was Starbucks gift cards. She used the gift card to buy the tea.

I am proud of myself!

A friend gave myseif a 16 oz bag of lentils last month. I have never prepared and never eaten lentils soup before.

I wanted to celebrate Meatless Monday and the lentils came to mind!

So, I got out my Crock-Pot, the bag of beans, a can of diced tomatoes, a can of sliced potatoes, some bouillon cubes, a Crock-Pot liner then finally some water.

Cooked on LOW for 6 hours and voila!

Delicious!

Then I found a recipe in an old cookbook, and I was shocked!
I had no idea it was so easy to make a cheesecake.

After that, for the holidays, I often make a cheesecake for dessert. I came up with various ways to modify the recipe.

Today I only had one lesson, which meant I could get down to some proper cleaning. So I did a deep clean where I usually just do a quick zap. Then I made dinner early: Bubble and Squeak it is tonight
