I did end up going to the thrift store! Yay!

My roommate is being really nice today. I was showing her what I bought on Saturday, because we were not at the cashier together and she asked, "I'm washing a load of clothes. Would you like for myself to wash those for you"?

I completed my first aid course today. It's good to have it done. I also found a beautiful shawl in an opshop for $3. It's keeping me warm right now.

It's past noon here. 12:30. It has been going slow and relaxed. Finished few light chores around the house, had breakfast in the morning and did some calligraphy work bit, working on one art order for a person. Now I would be online for a while and then go for lunch.

I take my coffee with creamer and sugar. I ran out of coffee creamer and have not had my coffee for about 4 days in a row. This morning I woke up and saw that my daughter had bought coffee creamer. MY DAY WAS FANTASTIC!!

I was with my brother in few stores. He bought some stuff for construction work we will do tommorow. Now is time for late coffee in bar or hidra drink.

Today is Sunday. It's our family day. We go to Church to attend our Sunday services. My wife proceed to her class in Relief Society. My grandson and I attend to our Priesthood class. While my grandchildren to their respective classes.

After an hour, we proceed to the Sacrament hall to partake the bread and water as our renewal of our covenant with the Lord as member of His Church.

I offer the opening prayer while my 20-year old granddaughter offers the closing prayer.

Our spirituality and testimony of the Gospel is strengthened by the faith-promoting messages of the speaker and leader of the Sunday.

Today we spend our quality time together with our family in the Church.

I did some cleaning and then played around on YouTube. In between, I've been following developments in the US-led attack on Iran all through the day.

I got a new laptop. Still making sure I have got all my apps back on it and everything how I like it. It's nice to have one that's working properly though.

Later I need to write some job applications.

First, HE brags about HIS successful military “secret” operation and how HE destroyed Iran's nuclear capabilities. America is the ONLY COUNTRY that could do it!!

Then, HE brags that HE made peace and negotiated a ceasefire between Israel and Iran - while both countries kept bombing each other!

Then HE gets mad when a news reporter asks HIM to explain what's happening. He yells and curses that these countries have been fighting each other for so long, they don't know what they're doing!!

Oh really?
YEAH! They have been fighting each other for a long time.

But YOU thought all America had to do was drop a few bombs and there would be peace OVERNIGHT?

Now YOU are mad at both countries because they're ruining your chances for a Nobel Peace Prize?

It's not their fault.
HIS “intelligence” didn't coordinate with THEIR “intelligence” and give them the script for HIS BAD REALITY TV SHOW!!


(Whew! Felt good to get that out of my system. I'm having a lovely day! )

For the past few hours, I have been searching on Amazon for an $5 item with no shipping. nada.

I should be working instead! I have thought of an article topic for WN. Yay!

There is an old but interesting Twilight Zone episode that seems to explain part of my own life although I have never gone off the deep end with greed. It has always just happened on its own for me.

For whatever reason, things just fall into my possession just before I need them. Often before I even know what it is. It happens all the time and has been happening for most of my life. It is often just a little thing, but it happens so often that it just seems peculiar.

Well, it just happened again. Just a little thing but it was there right when I needed it. I was out working in the yard with a weedeater, or some people call them a string trimmer. The guard had broken off and I already ordered the part, but it left me covered in the grass clippings as I used the tool without the guard.

Yesterday, I hit something while trimming under some brush and the head came apart. I crawled around to gather the pieces to reassemble it, but one tiny piece was missing and I could not find it. I ended up going to the hardware store yet again to buy a replacement part even though it looked like I was wearing grass shoes and the bottom half of my pants were covered.

As I parked my car and got out, I was shocked to find a perfectly fine hand brush at my feet in the parking lot. Cleaned myself off before going into the store. Just what I needed, just when I needed it. Same as always. I've never seen a hand brush just laying there in the parking lot before.

It has been raining heavily since morning, and the current time is around 2:37 pm besides going to church and doing a few tasks online, i haven't done anything else.

This morning I am playing phone tag- missed an appointment call, called them back, waiting for them to call again. Fingers crossed. I bet if I go and have a shower or something they'll call back then when it's inconvenient.

Listening to reports of the floods in Texas. I live in this state, but my city was not affected.
