This is true. You do have to be really careful. I would only engage with reputable companies. I'm always looking for a good deal or even a reward, but I'm not just going to jump at anything. Some promotions are actually good though.
I also like the free shipping promotions, even if it isn't technically a giveaway, it's a good way to save money.
