When you're the one experiencing the trial and tribulation, especially for an extended period of time ~ no matter what the hardship is OR how it compares to the hardship of others ~ you can't help but keep asking: WHEN IS RELIEF GOING TO COME? When each day passes, even though you're still alive, you say to yourself: 'Relief didn't come today. Maybe ... just maybe ... the sun will come out tomorrow.'
Well, fortunately I have never lacked waiting as a virtue.
However, I must also say that waiting for the various "tomorrows", I have now reached 47 years of age.
But ... despite this I continue to hope.
There is a saying in Italian: "Quello che non è accaduto in cento anni, potrebbe accadere domani!" (translated: What hasn't happened in a hundred years could happen tomorrow!)
