I haven't done much today because I was busy planning for a lesson that was meant to take place at 2 pm, only for my student to postpone it to the 12th

The Bible says that one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit is self-control. I am really trying to control myself however our current POTUS is provoking me to think some very unChristian thoughts. Our Capitol Building was attacked yesterday by our own citizens. It was horrific! On the plus side, at least it wasn't our own military forces and police who were storming the building.

Hey! Life could always be worst.

It was truly horrific. I watched it all yesterday and the previous day when it all erupted. Trump lost the elections and people just need to accept it and let it go - but I guess when they are being fed all these lies about "election fraud" and they carry on like a cult, it's about blind faith for them. But I hope the end of this current regime will signal positive change and that America starts to heal.

Sorry for having encountered that. What's worse is innocent people are getting hurt in the process. This drama needs to end already. Trump should accept defeat and learn to let go. I think elections are going to be messed up everywhere. There were riots in my neighboring country as well over some popular singer who wanted to be president.

I can't speak for other countries but Trump did not think this through. IF he really wanted a future in this country, all he had to do was run again for president in 2024. That is what a sane rational-thinking sound-minded patriotic citizen who was concerned for the good of all the people would have done. Of course, in 4 more years he would be 78 years old. Maybe he was thinking he would too old in 4 more years. Although, Biden is 78 years old right now. Personally, I think Trump is just a sore loser. As Mitt Romney said ... his pride has been injured. He wants to punish US.

He knows if he leaves the sit there is no coming back. Who would vote for him again? I think Americans are tired of him. He should just go home with while he still can with dignity.

You're welcome, cmoneyspinner. It's sad but everything has a beginning and an end and this too will come to pass. Keep the faith! <3

I defrosted my fridge, which is still only partially done. That's such a mammoth task  It took all morning. And then I had my previous ISP come around to collect their equipment because I've moved onto another one. I have two lessons later this evening, so I need to plan for those.
