I used to join in giveaways in neobux. I think you can click ads there and they will give you an amount if you win something but I never win there. I will only enter giveaways if I'm not going to invest on it.

I agree, I don't bet or entering raffles because they will always end up losing more than you win in a long run. And I've heard that you will get addicted to it since a long time ago.

I've entered (and still do) giveaways many times. I actually won one once.
It was a wacom drawing tablet. (I draw comics, so it was a huge help for me).
Most giveaways are based on a lottery system which kinda gets me discouraged though. I prefer to enter contests more than giveaways. i feel I have a chance based on my skills like that.

I have tried a couple of giveaways but with no luck! If the offer is interesting and the site is not a scam I do join it.

It depends on the type of giveaway. Nowadays, you can't enter anything without giving away your life history and opening yourself up to high levels of spam and unsolicited phone calls. All of which, I despise. So I'm sure I keep my entries to a bare minimum and only with sponsors I think I know a bit about.

Otherwise, don't email me, don't call me; just put the check in the mail.

Usually, as long as I don't have to do anything too extreme to enter, I'll be glad to. But if it's some kind of ridiculously insane random website that just wants to sell your info to advertisers, then no.

i have entered giveaways and have won. i won a 50 dollar giftcard from the kmart website and a sleeping bag from pepsiworld. i also won posters, a coke telephone and other things.

I always think they are a waste of time, but if it is free to enter then I usually don't mind. If I have to give away points or money to enter, then I don't enter.

A friend of mine recently won money from a sweepstakes, so I think it pays to enter some of these, I like the ones that don't ask for a phone number. I don't like getting calls after entering contests, unless I win, then call me, otherwise do not bother me...lol

I once did, but it was too complicated. I was irritated of those mode of giveaways, then I stopped. Spending time with this kind of marketing approach is boring and disgusting. I consider it a cheating in a small scale.

I don't believe that anyone ever wind them either. They are just a ploy to get you to give away that which you've earned.

They don't need your info unless or until you win, to get the prize to you. They take it anyway and do who knows what with it (besides spam, junk mail, sales calls, etc).

Really? The earning on Neobux is terribly slow, and you still gave away some of what you had earned? Were you close to cashout?

This time of year, I get more tempted to enter giveaways. I need more money for the holidays, plus some of the rewards could make good gifts. I still tend to be cautious though. I don't like giving out all of my info. I need to make sure the offer is legit first.

Really? At this time of the year, I am even more fixated on earning money in exchange for tasks that I may do online. I don't trust any of those giveaway sites, even though there are probably more than a few legitimate ones out there.

This time of the year is a good time for companies to market giveaways. They know that people are eager to earn money and gifts for the holidays. Hopefully no one will be scammed but unfortunately there is always someone who is seeking to do harm. Sometimes it is a good idea to pass up on some of the promotions out there.

Exactly. I think that a multitude of people will be scammed unfortunately. Many people cannot buy what they want for Christmas, so any hope will coerce them into participating a lot of the time.
